Man breaks into home while homeowner gets EPO against him

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man has been charged with the burglary of a home while the woman who lived there was getting a court order to keep him away.

Henry Sbaco-Suazo, 25, of Louisville, was arrested after he used a kitchen window to get into a home in the 600 block of Huntington Park early on Aug. 6. After getting inside, the arrest report says Sbaco-Suazo hid under the victim's bed.

At the time Sbaco-Suazo was committing the burglary, the woman was at the Hall of Justice obtaining a Emergency Protective Order against him. After arriving back at her home, the woman saw the window open and checked the house finding Sbaco-Suazo in under her bed. The report says Sbaco-Suazo threw her on the bed after grabbing her by the arm and chest. He also struck her in the back several times.

When he was arrested, officers found Sbaco-Suazo with the woman's phone. Police said Sbaco-Suazo and the woman once dated, but the relationship had ended several weeks ago.

Sbaco-Suazo was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections on charges of burglary and assault-domestic violence.
