Play resumes at PGA Championship

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - After a suspension due to weather, play has resumed at the 2014 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club.

The first two groups of the day were on the course when play was suspended at 7:50 a.m. as heavy rain fell over eastern Louisville Metro. The rain left ponding water on the putting surfaces.

After the rain let up, the grounds crew was able to get the course playable. Action resumed at 8:35 a.m. All Friday tee times have been moved back 50 minutes due to the weather delay.

Heading into the second round, three players are tied for the lead at 6-under 65 - Ryan Palmer, Lee Westwood and Kevin Chappell.
