JCPS parents should be aware of bus route changes

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Backpacks have been packed and the early bedtime routine has returned. August 13 marked the start of a new year for more than 100,000 Jefferson County Public School students. JCPS officials said they were ready.

Families will see a few changes this year, including shorter bus routes. That's because the district eliminated some bus depots.

Students are encouraged to be at the bus stop earlier on the first few days of school and JCPS says parents should expect their children to be late on this first week.

If you have questions about your child's transportation, call the JCPS bus hotline at 485-RIDE (485-7433).
