LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the Russell neighborhood.
According to MetroSafe, the shooting was reported in the 500 block of Dr. W.J. Hodge Street at 10 p.m. Tuesday.

The name of the man was shot has not been released.
MetroSafe said officers are searching for a suspect who fled on foot. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous police tip line at (502) 574-LMPD.
