Cultural Pass prizes to be awarded

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - If you and your family took advantage of the cultural pass and enjoyed some of Louisville Metro's great attractions now is the time to turn that pass in.

Children who stamped their pass at eight or more locations are eligible for numerous prizes.

The two grand prizes are four tickets to the Lion King Broadway Musical and the chance to watch a Louisville Bats game from the Mayor's box at Louisville Slugger Field.

Other prizes include:

  • Kentucky Museum of Art & Craft Family Membership & T-Shirt 
  • Planetarium Membership from University of Louisville Rauch Planetarium Gheens Science Hall 
  • Yew Dell Botanical Gardens Family Membership 
  • Speed Museum Package (one family membership, two tickets for Metropolis and one Speed catalogue) 
  • Four tickets to Louisville Youth Choir's annual Yum! Brands Family Concert Series 
  • Four tickets to a Stage One show of the winner's choice 
  • KY Science Center Family Membership 
  • Frazier Museum Family Membership 
  • Frazier Museum Birthday Party Package 
  • 1-year Membership to Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest 
  • Second 1-year Membership to Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest 
  • Tickets to "Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage: Men and Women of the Underground Railroad,” an award-winning film from the Carnegie Center 
  • Year-long Family Membership plus a Family Pass to “200 Years On the Ohio” festival to Riverside, The Farnsley-Moremen Landing 
  • Four tickets to the Louisville Ballet season opener Giselle 
  • Four Louisville Zoo VIP Passes

To be eligible cultural passes need to be turned in to a Louisville Free Public Library branch or Metro Parks Community Center no later than August 25.
