LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - We would have loved to have been at the after-hours party where Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighters conjured up a way to pretty much win the Ice Bucket Challenge.
The frontman and his buddies staged a send-up of the 70s horror flick "Carrie" that was as weird as you would expect it to be. (Watch it here)
The Ice Bucket Challenge movement is raising awareness and millions of dollars for ALS research, and likely your social media feeds have been clogged the last 10 days with videos of friends dousing themselves with buckets of ice water before passing the dare onto other friends.
What's new isn't the Grohl video that's earned 3 million views since it posted to Youtube on Tuesday. It's the response from Stephen King, the "Carrie" author who along with actors Jack Black and John Travolta, got the callout from Grohl to douse himself.
Check King's effort and find out who he nominates in the video below, or tap here if you're using a mobile device.
