Around 5:20 p.m. Greenwell was using her cell phone while driving a maroon Ford Focus away from the Jim Beam American Stillhouse on Happy Hollow Road and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of KY Highway 245. She then became distracted and pulled out in front of a dump truck traveling on KY Highway 245, said Lt. Mike Murdoch.

The driver of the dump truck was unable to avoid Greenwell's car and crashed into the side of the vehicle.

Murdoch said Greenwell was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the dump truck was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
