LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - An increased minimum wage ordinance will move forward.
Jefferson County Attorney Mike O'Connell gave the green light to the Louisville Metro Council Monday night.
The council is considering raising the city's minimum wage to $10.10 an hour over the next few years.
The council had asked O'Connell for his opinion to see if the body had the legal power to raise the minimum wage in the city.
