Gunman ties up manager in Mesa car wash holdup

Mesa police are looking for a gunman who tied up a car wash manager, cracked open a safe and fled with an unknown amount of money and the victim's vehicle.

The manager of Super Star Car Wash at 1919 S. Greenfield was preparing the business for opening around 7:15 .a.m. on Monday when the robber approached.

The suspect pulled out a handgun and bound the victim, police said.

The gunman, who had a blue bandana covering his face, is described as a man in his 20s. He is about 5'10" tall and weighs 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing  dark jeans, a white T-shirt, and a dark zip-up jacket.

The suspect fled the scene in the victim's vehicle, which is a gold, four-door 1995 Honda Accord.
