LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Here are 10 things Kentuckiana will be talking about today:

1. Holiday weekend weather - While fog is an issue for some this morning, the WAVE 3 News Storm Tracking Team is looking ahead to a rising threat of storms through the Labor Day weekend. Stay informed by checking out meteorologist Lauren Jones' forecast.

2. Infant murdered - The search continues today for the person or persons responsible for shooting and killing a 1-year-old girl and shooting and wounding her mother on the front porch of a home in west Louisville on Wednesday.

3. AMBER Alert - An AMBER Alert remains in effect after 6-week-old Delano Wilson was abducted by an unknown white male and a hispanic female during an armed robbery Wednesday afternoon in Indianapolis. Police believe the child is in extreme danger.

4. Former Hodgenville mayor - Terry Cruise is due in court today for a pretrial change of venue hearing. Hodgenville's former mayor faces multiple charges that relate to the misuse of city funds.

5. LMAS investigation - Metro Council members say they're being stonewalled as they try to investigate allegations of a dog dying because of mismanagement at Louisville Metro Animal Services. A former LMAS employee has accused a woman who now works as a spokesperson for Mayor Greg Fischer of using donations intended for a sick dog for another dog.

6. Google announcement - Representatives from Google and the U.S. Conference of Mayors will join Mayor Fishcer at 2 p.m. today for an announcement at Metro Hall.

7. Corvette Museum turns 20 - The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green begins celebrating its 20th anniversary today. More than 6,500 Corvette enthusiasts from around the world are expected to attend the event, which lasts through the holiday weekend.

8. Road work - Labor Day weekend is a hot weekend for travel, but drivers won't get a reprieve from the many construction projects on area roads. In fact, repaving will shut down Exit 117 off Interstate 65 in Shepherdville for most of the weekend. Neighbors and business owners aren't pleased.

9. UK "Game Day" news conference - University of Kentucky officials, the city of Lexington and several public service agencies will hold a news conference this morning to provide updates on safety, security, construction, parking and other matters related to the large crowds coming to Commonwealth Stadium, the campus and surrounding areas this fall for UK home football games.

10. Ali Awards - A complete list of Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award winners and presenters will be announced today and some A-List celebrities are on it.
