Crimson Tide fine tunes game plan for Mountaineers

From the University of Alabama Athletics Department:

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama football team practiced for 75 minutes Wednesday afternoon in shells inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility as the Crimson Tide continues its game-week preparations.

Wednesday's workout was the 27th of 28 fall practices and the fifth day of work on West Virginia. The season opener against the Mountaineers is slated for Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The Chick-fil-A Kickoff is slated for a 2:36 p.m. (CDT) start on ABC/ESPN2.

With two extra prep days for the Mountaineers compared to in-season game weeks, Alabama held its normal Thursday practice on Wednesday as the team honed in on the final game plan. The Crimson Tide will hold its final practice leading up to the season opener on Thursday before departing for Atlanta on Friday afternoon.
