LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man in his 20s was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday after a shooting in the Russell neighborhood, police said.
Louisville Metro Police Department officers responding to a report of shooting at 17th Street and Plymouth Court around 8:10 p.m. found a man with a gunshot wound to the body.
LMPD's homicide unit is investigating because the victim's injuries are life-threatening.
