Men charged with shoplifting energy drinks

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two men have been arrested after they left a store with hundreds of dollars worth of a popular energy drink they hadn't paid for.

Jorge Medling, 37, of Shelbyville, KY, and Braydon Cole Adrio, 28, of Louisville, were arrested around 10:10 p.m. Aug. 28 by West Buechel police at the Walmart in the 2000 block of Bashford Manor Lane.

Arrest reports say the men loaded a shopping cart with Monster Energy Drinks valued at $558.67, walked out of the store and put they drinks into their vehicle.

When arrested police also found that each man had drug paraphernalia on them used with heroin.

Medling and Adrio were booked into Louisville Metro Corrections on charges of theft by unlawful taking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
