LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Weather is causing a delay of the 'Big Squeeze' on the northbound side of Interstate 65.

The Big Squeeze is the part of the Ohio River Bridges Project that will force both northbound and southbound I-65 to lose one lane in each direction from the Kennedy Bridge to Brown's Station Way in southern Indiana.

Southbound I-65 lost a lane on Tuesday morning. Due to rain, the northbound stretch of I-65 won't be squeezed down to two lanes until Wednesday night. It originally was scheduled to lose one lane on Tuesday evening.
