LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville woman is facing a complicity to robbery charge after Louisville Metro Police say she helped in the robbery.

An arrest warrant says Brittany Geitzenauer, 22, of Louisville, helped another person rob a man of $200. The warrant says Geitzenauer and the victim were in the home of a mutual friend with several other people on Aug. 14. The victim got up to leave and said he was going to purchase an auto part with the cash he had. As the man was leaving, Geitzenauer left first and went into the alley where an unnamed co-defendant was waiting. The victim was hit several times with a closed fist by the co-defendant, who also took the money from the man's pocket.

After the attack, the warrant says the co-defendant fled but Geitzenauer walked around the block, returned to the house, and stayed outside. The victim also returned to the house and called police.

Geitzenauer and the co-defendant were later seen walking together about one block from the alley where the robbery happened.

The victim was able to identify Geitzenauer in a police photo package. She was arrested Sept. 2 by LMPD.
