LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man charged with the murder a Louisville taxi driver was placed behind bars in Oldham County.
Miles Matthews, 27, of Corydon, IN, was booked into the Oldham County Jail on Friday, Sept. 6.
Matthews was arrested in Watertown, NY, near the Canadian border, on July 20. His arrest came three days after the body of Adam Gregg, of Louisville, was found by a homeowner in a driveway off of U.S. 42 in Goshen, KY.
Gregg disappeared after picking up a fare outside the Preston Highway Red Roof Inn
Matthews was driving Gregg's car at the time of his arrest in New York.
Police say the motive in Gregg's murder had something to do with heroin.
