LEBANON, Ohio (AP) - A southwest Ohio grand jury has indicted a 41-year-old man on murder charges in the slaying of a Kentucky woman on Interstate 75.
Warren County court records show Terry Froman of Brookport, Illinois, could face the death penalty if convicted on aggravated murder counts. He also was indicted on two kidnapping counts and a firearms discharge charge.
Froman was arrested Sept. 12, accused of killing his estranged girlfriend's son in Kentucky, kidnapping her and then killing her on I-75.
Authorities say he was treated for a self-inflicted gunshot wound and the body of 34-year-old Kim Thomas was in his car on the interstate, which police had shut down.
He is being held on $1 million bond. Court records show no attorney for Froman. He is tentatively due in court Wednesday.
