LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A band known on the Louisville music scene for their mash-up of styles, Quiet Hollers is getting ready to release a new single in January ahead of their second album.
The group formed as sort of an accident after singer/songwriter Shadwick Wilde incorporated the other members on his solo effort in 2010. From then, the group released their first collaborative effort, ' I am the Morning,' in 2013.
Their specific sound and combination of styles has earned Quiet Hollers a nomination at the Louisville Music Awards and sports on five 'Best of 2013' lists.
The band is performing at Zanzabar as part of the Communion series, a monthly event now in seven cities across the U.S. that was started by Mumford & Sons. The show is Wednesday, November 12 at 9 p.m. They are taking the stage along with The Soil and The Sun and Count this Penny. Visit
