'Plus-sized' model causing controversy

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Designer Calvin Klein's latest underwear campaign is sewing up a plus-sized controversy.

The brand's new 'Perfectly Fit' campaign was supposed to cater to "the needs of different women" by being more inclusive so the brand introduced model Myla Dalbesio into the line who called herself a 'bigger girl' in Elle magazine.

Dalbesio is considered plus-sized in the fashion world, but at size 10 she's a healthy and average woman. While Calvin Klein has been quick to point out it never made size-related divisions during the photo shoot, the use of the term 'perfectly fit' has critics accusing the brand of promoting unhealthy body ideals.
