Amazon offering hundreds of dollars in bonuses for local holiday help

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Many people will take to the Internet to order holiday gifts for loved ones on Amazon.com over the coming weeks.

But what's on Amazon's wish list?

More workers, of course.

Integrity Staffing Solutions is or has been hiring tens of thousands of seasonal workers at Amazon facilities nationwide, including its order fulfillment center in Jeffersonville, Ind.

What makes this need for holiday help different from that of other employers is simple -- the incentives.

Anyone applying for a job between today and Saturday will be eligible for the following perks:

+ A $200 sign-on bonus
+ A $200 refer-a-friend program
+ A $100 weekly perfect attendance record

"With the decline in the unemployment rate, workers have more choices available to them," Integrity Staffing Solutions co-founder and CFO Sean Montgomery said. "We recognize this and are willing to demonstrate this in our offering."

Integrity also has relaxed its education requirements for some positions. No high-school diploma or GED is required.

"The response (to our call for applicants) has been strong and steady," Montgomery said. "We just have a lot of positions to fill."

Those interested in applying can do so online, or by visiting one of three Integrity office locations:
