FBI: Kansas City kidnappers leave victim's van in Bardstown

BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) - The vehicle belonging to a Missouri kidnapping victim was found along the Bluegrass Parkway in Bardstown.

The victim eventually got away, but two men remain at large in the case, according to an FBI release issued Friday that included photos of the men.

The man's wife told investigators Thursday morning that his work van, lunch pail and keys were still in their driveway in Kansas City when she was leaving for work.

The family's personal vehicle, a full-sized Chevy fan, was missing, however. That's the one that was located in Bardstown.

The two men are considered to be armed and dangerous. One is described as being a light-complexion black man between 18 and 20 years old, around 5-feet-8 or 5-feet-9. The other is described as a dark complexion black man around 25 or 26 years of age, between 5-feet-10 and 6 feet tall, with a stocky build.

Anyone with information about this crime or the men accused in it is urged to call local law enforcement immediately.
