KFC rolls out something called the Double Down Dog

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Everyone loves fried chicken.

Everyone loves hot dogs.

[ALSO WEIRD: Mmmm, bacon-scented pillowcases]

So it made total sense Monday when fast-food giant KFC began testing the Double Down Dog on a limited basis at stores in the Philippines this week.

What is a Double Down Dog, you ask? It's a hot dog wrapped inside of a fried chicken breast, and it's all topped with a drizzle of some sort of cheese sauce.

Any sandwich that uses fried chicken as a bun is either horribly disgusting, or horribly disgusting.

In fact, it's so horribly disgusting that we're left with only one question: When can we try it here in Louisville?

Would you eat a Double Down Dog? Head over to our Facebook page and join the convo.
