LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Kentucky Derby Festival has announced that ESPN's Jay Bilas will be the featured speaker at the 59th Annual They're Off Luncheon, the kickoff event of the festival.
Bilas will address approximately 1,500 Derby Festival supporters and patrons at the luncheon on Friday, April 17 in the Grand Ballroom of Galt House East.
In addition to his work on college basketball broadcast for ESPN since 1995, Bilas, who played college basketball at Duke, is an attorney and author. He also is a co-host of ESPN's College Game Day and makes appearances on SportsCenter.
