Julian Glover Julian Glover

Julian Glover joined the WAVE 3 News team in March 2015 as an anchor and reporter. He wakes up before the sun rises to weed through the noise and give you real news that matters to you.

Julian anchors breaking news as it happens in the WAVE 3 News Alert Center every morning from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. He also anchors our hour-long newscast on our subchannel Bounce Louisville from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., as well as the first Midday newscast in the market at 11 a.m.

Originally from Washington, D.C., Julian is excited to call Louisville home. During his time here, he’s covered the UofL basketball scandal, the near-historic flooding in metro Louisville that coincided with a billion-dollar fire at GE’s Appliance Park (coverage of which earned our Sunrise team an Emmy Award), and anchored the news the morning after the passing of "The Greatest," Muhammad Ali.

Julian comes to the Bluegrass State from Florida, where he was a reporter and fill-in anchor at Fox 4 in Fort Myers. He's covered several major stories that captivated the nation: A congressman's resignation amid a cocaine scandal, heated political races, a school shooting on Florida State's campus, the mass beaching and deaths of dozens of pilot whales, and near-record flooding in South Florida. While covering the news in Southwest Florida, he was also honored with an Emmy nomination for his investigation into a housing scandal -- stealing property from the dead.

Before moving in front of the camera, Julian was an associate producer at CBS 4 in Miami. He also had a brief stint on the National Desk at CBS News in New York City. There, he found himself working with some of the best in the business to put on a national news product.

You may notice Julian is bringing a bit of orange and green to a sea of red and blue. He's an alumnus of the University of Miami and a proud Miami Hurricane. Julian graduated from UM's School of Communication with degrees in broadcast journalism and political science – and a minor in being a beach bum.

In 2014, Julian was honored with an Associated Press award for his investigation into how funds from the Florida State Lottery were being allocated.
Julian loves covering technology, politics, consumer advocacy and breaking stories that affect your daily life.
