LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A local band is getting noticed by a larger crowd after their appearance at SXSW. Twin Limb may only have
out, but they're quickly becoming the hottest ticket in town.
With haunting vocals and a driving beat, Long Shadow is a song that sticks in your mind. In the best way possible. Hear a preview of it above, in the band's full interview on The Setlist.
Twin Limb will be playing several shows coming up you won't want to miss.
You can see them at GonzoFest on Saturday held on the lawn of the Big Four Bridge. Entrance to the festival, which includes several other bands, art, and spoken word, is $10. They're scheduled to play at 4 p.m.
Later that night they are part of a record release show for Twenty First Century Fox at Zanzabar. Tickets are $5.
If you can't make either of those, get ready for Forecastle. Twin Limb will play Sunday.
And with the band promising to drop a full length album soon, we have a feeling you'll be seeing much more of them this summer.
The Setlist is a collaboration between WFPK Music Director Kyle Meredith and WAVE 3 News Producer Laurel Mallory. Find more local music by watching WAVE 3 News every Saturday morning or Monday nights at 7:30 p.m.
