An inspiring video getting passed around social media this week might have you reaching for a Kleenex.
U.S. Army Capt. Sarah Cudd fell to her knees twice near the end of a 12-mile foot march at Fort Dix, N.J. According to the Facebook post accompanying the video, the foot march is "the last event of the Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB), and must be completed within (three) hours."
Cudd serves at Fort Knox, according to a Washington Post article about the video clip. Her Public Health Command shared the video on Friday, and told the newspaper that by finishing the march, Cudd had earned the badge, something that only 25 percent of candidates typically achieve.
Between Facebook and Youtube, the clip had been viewed more than 1.7 million times as of Wednesday evening.
