LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Three elaborate playhouses were delivered to three Kosair Kids Friday.
The Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville partnered with Kosair Charities and YouthBuild to make dream playhouses.
The homes were built with the family's help so the crews could learn what each child likes.
David Netherton, with YouthBuild Louisville, said, "They call 'em playhouses but they're more like tiny houses. They've got electric and a little bit of plumbing in some of them, fully insulated, heating and cooling."
One of the homes was delivered to 4-year-old Vance Lovett. Vance was diagnosed with Norrie disease, which causing blindness, hearing problems and mental challenges he will face his entire life.
He was napping when the house was dropped off, but he has plenty hours of play ahead of him.
