LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - People supported the many locally owned and independent business in the city of Louisville on Sunday at the Buy Local Fair at the Louisville Water Tower Park.
The fair, hosted by the Louisville Independent Business Alliance, showcased the many local shops and trades available in the city. Local chefs also held a cooking competition at the event.
"What an amazing event to talk about all the great things in our community," said Kelley Dearing Smith from the Louisville Water Company. "Whether it be water, flowers, bourbon products, there's no shortage of local flavor here today."
Hundreds of booths were set up for the Buy Local Fair, which also featured activities for kids and live music by local bands. This was the seventh year for the annual event.
