Man arrested after allegedly smashing windows with a bicycle

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man was arrested early on Sunday morning for allegedly throwing a bicycle against three windows of a business, causing over $1,000 in damages.

Brandon Kennedy, 26, was taken into custody after police say he rode a bike up to the front of an unnamed business and smashing three windows. The arrest of Kennedy came later that morning for allegedly trespassing at a Super 8 Motel.

According to the police report Kennedy allegedly said he had been "out partying hard on Preston Highway."  The report also stated Kennedy appeared to be  under the influence of an unknown narcotic.

Kennedy was charged with one count of first-degree criminal mischief and one count of third-degree criminal mischief. According to the police report, officers made several other criminal mischief reports in the same area. Kennedy is a suspect in them all.
