DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - Miami Dolphins first-round draft pick DeVante Parker has undergone foot surgery and will miss the rest of the team's offseason workouts, but he's expected to be ready for the beginning of the regular season.
Parker had surgery Friday at a hospital in Coral Gables.
The receiver from Louisville was the 14th overall pick in this year's draft and is expected to see significant playing time this season. He had been impressive in recent organized team activities until he was sidelined this week.
Parker missed the first seven games of his senior season last year with a foot injury but caught 43 passes for 855 yards and five touchdowns in the final six games.
