Triple Crown Parade at Churchill

Exactly one week after winning the Triple Crown, American Pharoah was back at Churchill Downs Saturday night for a victory parade in front of 30,000 plus fans.  "We are staffed for a very large crowd and you know there were plenty of people lined up when gates opened at 5 o clock. There's an incredible atmosphere here and I know everybody's itching to see American Pharoah," said Director of Communications Darren Rogers.  Horse Racing fan Bronica Ray exclaimed, "I am so excited to be here at Churchill Downs tonight to see American Pharoah come home, we are sitting camp right here waiting for him to come out, ready with our cameras and I can't wait!  The first Triple Crown winner since 1978 seemed very poised and calm as he stopped several times for pictures.  "Most of these people have never seen a Triple Crown winner in there lifetime and now they're getting to see him parade around and thank you to Mr. Baffert and the Zayats for sharing him with us because he has become Louisville's horse," commented JC Sullivan.  Owner Ahmed Zayat said, "It's all about American Pharoah, I mean he is one hell of a horse, and hopefully he will continue to excite all of us and make us more proud of this horse.
