LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Demolition began Monday on a building destroyed by a massive six-alarm fire in GE's Appliance Park.
The April fire destroyed Building 6, which was used houses production parts and distribution offices.
The head of Louisville Arson said investigators have completed their search of the scene. Officials are in the process of putting together the report and final cause, which they hope to finish within the next two weeks.
GE has yet to decide whether to rebuild. The cost of the damage has not been determined. The company said production schedules have only slightly changed since the fire.
