LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) The list of titles is endless. Go Hard in the Paint is an AAU basketball organization ford kids ranging in age from kindergarten to eighth grade...and in just five years...they have made a huge impact. "The girls finished two time state champions. Obviously finished fourth in the country. Our boys program won 11 out of 13 of the national tournaments for the 2022 class," said team president James Schooler. "We want Kentucky to be back at the top of the national scene," he also commented.
Schooler says the goal is to improve each players game both on the court and in the classroom. "We want our students to be a grade level ahead academically, and a grade level ahead on the athletic playing court," he said. While developing a love for basketball Go Hard in the Paint's coaches also make sure their kids have plenty of fun. "Our coaches are always in the gym working with us," said sixth grader Amaya Asher.
Who knows? A future Mister or Miss Basketball could have their roots with Go Hard in the Paint.
