Guaynabo, Puerto Rico - The University of Louisville dropped to 0-5 on it's Puerto Rico exhibition tour with a 102-94 loss in overtime on Thursday night.
Fifth year Drexel transfer Damion Lee led the Cards with 29 points and 10 rebounds. He hit 11 of his 18 shots, including 3-7 from three. Jaylen Johnson and Ray Spalding added 11 each, and Mangok Mathiang had 10 points.
UofL led 41-39 at halftime and 67-58 after three quarters. Puerto Rico outscored the Cards 29-20 in the fourth quarter, to force overtime. Daniel Vassallo led Puerto Rico with 29 points.
Rick Pitino did not coach either team. He observed for most of the game, and joined the radio broadcast in the third quarter.
The teams will face off again on Friday at Manati, Puerto Rico. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. They will also meet on Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. \
