LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - WAVE 3 News was the No. 1 news station in the Louisville market at 6 a.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the July ratings period, according to the Rentrak Corporation.
Rentrak is an audience-measurement service that currently measures the viewing habits of more than 93,000 homes in the Louisville television market. It is the fourth consecutive ratings period (November 2014, February 2015 and May 2015) that WAVE 3 News took home the top spot.
WAVE 3 News' average household audience was more than 30,000 during the 6 a.m. and more than 45,000 during the 11 p.m. news, Rentrak said.
WAVE 3 News also delivered more than 19 million page views on its digital platforms in July.
WAVE 3 News produces nearly 50 hours of news each week and streams live on wave3.com and the WAVE 3 News mobile apps.
WAVE 3 News also produces "Listens Live!" daily, and "WAVE Country with Dawne Gee" and "Inside The Cards" with UofL coaches Bobby Petrino and Rick Pitino weekly.
