LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Our Commonwealth Credit Editorial stirred up some passionate responses.
Don Chism wrote: "Just wait till the state government has to pay for Obamacare."
Mark Doran said: "Fund your requirements and control your expenses."
Charlie Humphries opined: "Put regular folks in office, people who rely on their hard earned retirement. Folks who have had to decide whether to buy needed medication or pay to keep electricity in their home."
Chris Breslin said: "The legislature won't undertake actual tax reform that would increase revenues, instead they keep robbing funds from hundreds of small government agencies to fill in the gaps in the state budget. Pretty soon Frankfort, those little pockets of money are going to be dried up and then you'll really be up a creek."
And Jonathan Michael Wahl responded: "Expanded gaming? No! Legalize marijuana? No! Local option sales tax? No! No! No! No new taxes! If we just tell the uninformed naysayers to sit on it and go forward with revenue-generating projects like those, then maybe we can pay for some stuff and pay off some debts. It won't happen with projects like Ark Park and the Creation Museum, and it especially doesn't help when Kentucky gets the kind of publicity that it has been getting with Kim Davis."
We appreciate all of your feedback.
