LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Supporters of alcohol sales in Oldham County have turned over the signatures needed to get a wet-dry vote.
Five thousand signatures were needed from registered voters. The Oldham County clerk will verify the signatures.
A vote can not be held 30 days before or after a general election.
The Oldham County Chamber of Commerce, which spearheaded the push, hopes to hold the vote in January.
