'Breaking Cardinal Rules' author to appear on national TV

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The woman who wrote "Breaking Cardinal Rules" is set to appear on national television.

Katina Powell is set to appear on ESPN’s SportsCenter and Outside the Lines and ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday, Oct. 20, according to her publisher.

The book is based on Powell’s allegations she was paid by former University of Louisville player and staff member Andre McGee to provide women - including three of her own daughters - to dance and have sex with the players, recruits, and in some cases, the recruits' fathers.

The validity of Powell's allegations are now the subject of investigations launched by the NCAA and the University of Louisville.
