LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear toured the Radcliff Veterans Center Monday, saying he is committed to providing top notch care for veterans.
The center will be the state's fourth veteran's care facility when it is finished.
"We've improved the programs and facilities that lessen the hardships that military service sometimes creates," Gov. Beshear said during Monday's tour. "This state-of-the-art long term care center is a perfect example of what we're talking about."
The new nursing home is near Louisville and Fort Knox.
It is being built on the Community Living Center Model, which features four neighborhoods of three 10-bedroom homes each.
