LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - We certainly have much to be thankful for as a community this year.
Unemployment is down to the lowest levels in years.
Gas prices are down to the lowest levels in years.
Finishing touches are being made to a new bridge linking Louisville and Southern Indiana to make it open for traffic before the end of the year.
Plans are underway to make Dixie Highway safer for travel.
Plans are also underway to build an Omni Hotel in downtown Louisville, and renovate the Convention Center.
And for the fourth year in a row, Louisville has been honored with the worthy distinction of being an international model city of compassion.
Our people clearly are what we are most thankful for and that is the best blessing a community can celebrate.
