Fundraiser to feature police K9s

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – Jeffersonville police are inviting the community to meet their canines as they raise money for protective equipment.

The Paws Fur A Cause fundraiser will raise money for bullet and stab resistant vests for the police dogs, as well as donations for local animal shelters.

During the event the five police K9’s will put on demonstrations.

Paws Fur A Cause will take place Dec. 3 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Kye’s II, located at 500 Missouri Avenue.
