It's that time of year again.
Time for modernized, hip-hop variations of holiday classics, of course.
California Philharmonic Maestro Victor Vener wanted to kick off the orchestra's landmark 20th anniversary campaign with a special Christmas concert at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium last week, according to the Pasadena Weekly.
The event was called "Sleigh Ride" and featured holiday staples from "The Nutcracker" and other seasonal classics.
The real twist came when dancers Cyrus "Glitch" Spencer, JR Tight Eyex and James Derrick joined the orchestra for a perfectly choreographed performance set to "The Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy."
