LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The fifth suspect wanted in the shooting death of a 16-month-old girl was taken into custody.
Duwan Mason Jr., 29, was taken into custody at an apartment on Nashville, Tennessee Tuesday night by members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force and SWAT officers in connection to the death of Ne'riah Miller.
Ne'riah was shot and killed in August of 2014 while sitting on the front porch of her home on South 37th Street.
Since the shooting four suspects - Michael Dunn, William McLemore, Demarkus Trambler and Trey Anderson - have all been charged.
Mason, who had been on the run since the shooting, was charged in Nashville with being a fugitive from justice. He is being held on a $250,000 bond, pending extradition to Kentucky.
