Wednesday, the Louisville Metro Police Department demonstrated the new Canine Attic Deployment Systems.
The systems use a portable hoist and pulley, which allows the dogs to securely enter an attic. In the past it was hard to get the dogs into attics.
LMPD's Canine Unit has 11 dogs, along with one still in training.
