BU women's basketball rises to No. 17 in Division II Media Poll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Bellarmine University women's basketball team climbed five spots to No. 17 in the most recent NCAA Division II Media Poll, released Tuesday.

This is the third consecutive poll in which the Knights have been ranked in the top 25. They started at No. 24 before rising to No. 22 in last week's list.

With two victories last week, Bellarmine moved to 10-0 overall, its best start since going 12-0 to begin the 1991-92 campaign.

Limestone, Lubbock Christian, Ashland, Alaska Anchorage and West Texas A&M comprise the top 5, which did not change.

Lewis (No. 12) and Quincy (No. 23) join Bellarmine in the top 25 from the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
