Millions of Americans are battling the Super Bowl bulge after eating an average of 2,500 calories on Super Bowl Sunday.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, doctors say jump back on the workout bandwagon immediately, and you'll want to after hearing this.

Dr. Charles Platkin, editor of, says if you scarfed down two large slices of pepperoni pizza, you'll need to run 109 football fields to get back the 720 calories you consumed.

If you ate five buffalo wings, put your stripes on and ref 102 minutes of a game to burn off those calories.

And if you ate just six Doritos on Sunday, you'll need to clean your house for 18 minutes to get those calories back.
They're depressing numbers, so take advice from your doctors and get moving.

A 30 minute walk will go a long way, cut out snacks for the next few days while you're at it. and try to get a good night's rest; after all, you burn a few hundred calories in your sleep.
