Copy-Florida teen arrested, charged with impersonating doctor

(WPBF/CNN) - An 18-year-old Florida man has been arrested in South Florida, accused of practicing medicine without a license.

He was apparently so successful, he was running his own "holistic medical clinic" in West Palm Beach, FL.

Malachi A. Love-Robinson was arrested while he was allegedly giving a medical examination to a female undercover officer.

The Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale, FL, said Love-Robinson is the same man caught at a hospital in 2015 pretending to be an anesthesiologist, peeking in on gynecology exams and having several lab coats in his car.

A Palm Beach TV station has been investigating Love-Robinson since he held a grand opening for his new West Palm Beach, FL, medical center. Concerned family members called WPBF and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office expressing concerns that he was posing as a doctor.

He denied that he was fraudulently practicing medicine and that he would address the accusations through his lawyer. Sheriff's deputies arrested him anyway.

"I'm hurt because of all these allegations, but this is not the first time I have been accused and I will pursue this, and when I do, you will be the first to know," he said to Terri Parker, the investigative reporter for WPBF as he was being led away in handcuffs.
