BOWLING GREEN, KY (WAVE) - A vehicle crash ultimately led to the death of a Bowling Green man late Saturday night.

Police said the driver of the SUV, Michael Roll, 52, became extremely combative with them and appeared to be under the influence. A taser was used to restrain Roll, who continued to resist arrest and eventually became unconscious.

Roll was taken to Medical Center in Bowling Green, where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

KSP is investigating the incident.
