NAWBO aims to further work of women entrepreneurs

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - WAVE 3 News proudly supports the work of the Louisville chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.

NAWBO Louisville provides support, resources and opportunities to propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide. It's about women helping women, forming partnerships and learning from each other.

One of NAWBO's strengths is its membership diversity. Businesses range in size from sole proprietorship to hundreds of employees. The organization is comprised of a diverse range of business types including accounting firms, advertising firms, financial services, catering companies, retail stores, printing services, contractors, manufacturers and others. NAWBO Louisville services business establishments in categories from small, home-based businesses to multi-million dollar companies.

NAWBO Louisville works to strengthen the wealth-creating capacity of members and promote economic development. The organization also creates innovative and effective changes in the business culture and builds strategic alliances, coalitions and affiliations.

Membership is open to sole proprietors, partners and corporate owners with day-to-day management responsibility, along with those who support the mission and vision of NAWBO. Members automatically join both the Louisville chapter and the national organization, giving them access to a wide range of resources and support.
