LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The painting of bridge beams on Interstates 65 and 264 in Jefferson County will cause lane closures in the coming months.

Contract crews will blast clean and repaint steel beams on seven bridges in the vicinity of Louisville International Airport, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). Containment structures will be set up under the bridges to capture paint and debris from the blast cleaning process.
